Reviews and Ratings
The hotel blends old school charm with modern living at the front and offers spacious and comfortable rooms equipped with thoughtful amenities like a shoehorn, clothing brush, and umbrella. Although the location is ideal near St Georges Terrace and Kings Park, the practicality falls short due to the structure. The dining experience is enjoyable with a delicious fixed menu served indoors or on the terrace.
The hotel offered a great breakfast, which I thought was excellent for the price compared to other hotels in the city area. The rooms, although still very small with awfully small windows, were infested with Mosquitos, dirty, had a broken safe, and felt cramped. The service was top-notch, very considerate, and welcoming, offering late check-out and even finding us a late-night snack. The location was ideal to visit Kings Park and the city center, with transport links nearby, but being on the fringe of the CBD made it a peaceful retreat. The dining experience, with cooked-to-order breakfast options but limited to only egg dishes, was satisfactory. The facilities were decent, although the room size and cleanliness were lacking.
The hotel provided a very quiet and relaxing stay. The standard deluxe room was very clean and nicely presented. The service was super friendly and accommodating, making our stay wonderful. The location, on the fringe of CBD, offered a mix of being near everything yet away from the crowd. The dining was really good, but with limited options for timings. Overall, with great value for money, it was an excellent experience.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, especially the king bed and the lovely black marble bathroom. However, the lack of a door to the bathroom and the oversized fridge were minor drawbacks. The service was friendly and helpful, ensuring our special occasion was memorable. The location was excellent, perfect for evening drinks with live music nearby, and conveniently close to the main attractions. The dining experience was delightful, offering delicious breakfast choices at a reasonable price. Overall, a great value for money.
I felt right at home in this hotel with its well-appointed, spacious room that had a separate dining/living room area. Being on the first floor next to the elevator was convenient, and the heritage-style furnishings blended perfectly with modern bathroom fittings. The hotel's location offered a mix of quiet charm and easy access to nearby attractions, making it ideal for both work and leisure travelers. The friendly service added a personal touch to my stay, although catching someone for the bill at the end was a bit of a challenge. The dining experience was delightful, especially with the fantastic service and homely, delicious options. While the lack of nearby action might not suit all guests, it was a peaceful and convenient stay overall.
